The team at Flame Health Optometry had a great time at the Optician Awards in London.

It was great for Chris and James to get together with existing clients and candidates as well as meeting new faces, including rubbing shoulders with celebrities! The winners of the awards were well deserved to be recognised for their contribution to the optometry world!

It’s World Glaucoma Week! As an optometrist are you getting involved?

The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) is asking practitioners to speak to patients and find out whether they are fully aware of the condition,

Head of marketing at the IGA, Alex Painter said,

“We at the IGA have a presence in our local town centre, but we’re a small charity and we can’t be everywhere. However, if you’d like to hold an event in your area and/or contact your local media with a feature or press release about glaucoma, we will be right behind you.”

You will ideally have a testing time of 20 minutes; however 30 minutes will be acceptable for any newly qualified candidates. Optrafair 2013

Flame Health Optometry are happy to hear that Optrafair will be bigger and better in 2013!

Organisers are aiming to increase figures by 15%. This is great news to Flame Health Optometry. Last year was a great turn out but with more people attending, the Optometry team will be poised to answer any questions you have.

The team will be there from April 13th-15th. Closer to the time we will be letting you know what stand we will be on and what we will be doing over the 3 days.
