Optometrists can now use their registration with the GOC as a way of promoting their business and to show their GOC status to patients. This will hopefully give patients a bit of reassurance by its presence. You can download the specially designed logo at www.optical.org/en/login/index.cfm (the council warns against ever using the logo without the registration number) Put this in consulting rooms, waiting areas, on letterheads and even websites.
