Flame Health Optical Sales are working on behalf of our client, who is dedicated to providing new and innovative products for the optical field.

With their expanding range of products they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, for their optical channel, to cover the Midlands territory. You will be required to grow and manage the company’s strong portfolio across all levels of the optical field.

This is the ideal role for a sales professional with proven experience of selling to the optical sector or somebody with a passion for sales looking to further their career within a dedicated and dynamic team. Reporting to the Optics Sales Manager, the position involves getting in front of the decision makers and pushing deals through, as well as exploring and developing new business opportunities.

They favour those who are motivated, tenacious and are ultimately focused on bringing business on- board. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to communicate with authority to senior professionals will be fundamental to success in this role. A good level of understanding of both optics and associated topics is desirable.

To be considered for this position you must: Have 1-3 years sales experience gained within the optical sector As a Business Development Manager you must have a high level of self motivation. You will also need to demonstrate great influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to develop and nurture strong business relationships.
